Jim Reynolds was born and raised in the Kingston area. An elementary school teacher and principal, he worked in several Kingston schools until retirement in 1998. An avid traveller, Jim is also keenly interested in history, especially local history and volunteers his time with heritage groups and a local museum. Other interests include theatre and the arts, boating and water activities, reading and family research.
Jim has served on the Co-ordinating Council of Elders for seven years, chaired and co-chaired the Pastoral Care committee and has been active on search committees. He has been the Chalmers Presbytery Representative for six years.
"Chalmers United Church includes many talented and interested people," Jim says."Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God." He hopes all talented and resourceful people in our church will step forward to help Chalmers succeed and grow, and continue to be a relevant presence in the Kingston community.
